Increasing EEOC cases

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has been helping American workers for over 35 years. Their mission statement describes their function finest: "The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is in charge of enforcing federal laws that make it illegal to discriminate against a job applicant or an employee due to the individual's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic details. Fundamentally, they're the watchdog group that insures workers throughout the nation will have equal opportunity for employment and job security.
In 2009, the EEOC logged the 2nd highest amount of workplace discrimnation charges within their organization's history. There were approximately 93,277 complaints of EEOC compliance filed by workers.
